BASH is our largest gathering of Catholic middle school students (6th-8th graders) every year!
This event is a celebration of our Catholic faith and love of the Lord. We are very happy to announce that “BASH: Family Edition” will take place on Saturday, April 24 at Bull Run Special Events Center. (Haga clic aquí para ver !BASH en español.)
We invite all middle school students and their families to participate in BASH: Family Edition. Family participation is encouraged to assist in maintaining an environment consistent with diocesan and state COVID regulations.
BASH: Family Edition will include a Sunday Vigil Mass with Bishop Burbidge as principal celebrant, keynotes by national speaker Jackie Francois Angel and Joel De Loera (new Director of the Spanish Apostolate), and a show by Christian illusionist Danny Ray. A pizza dinner, ice cream, and event T-shirt will be provided to all participants, and we will have inflatables, a rock wall, local Catholic vendors, and a scavenger hunt.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration and payment is online and will open on Monday, March 29. There will be no refunds unless the event is canceled.
Early Bird Rate (until April 9): $10 per person with a cap of $50 per family.
Regular Rate (after April 9): $12.50 per person with a cap of $62.50 per family.
COVID-19 Protocols: In order to ensure that all state and diocesan guidelines regarding social distancing are upheld, pre-registration is required. Please do not attend if you are sick or experiencing any COVID related symptoms. Face coverings are required by all in-person attendees age five and older. The exception to this is when seated with family in the amphitheater space, maintaining a distance of ten feet between families. We will be working with all vendors to ensure that distance and sanitation requirements are met. Visible markers will be used to space participants in lines for food and amusements. Bull Run Special Events Center is a large outdoor entertainment venue which provides an abundance of space for this event. Under current COVID-19 state guidelines, the capacity for this event is 1,000 people.
WHO: This event is geared towards middle school students and their families. However, if your family does not include a middle school student and you would still like to participate, you are very welcome to do so! Please note that all youth participants must attend with an adult that is responsible for them; there is no individual youth registration.
